The Pride of Turkmen nation; Ahal-Teke horses
You may enjoy riding this oldest breed of Ahal-Teke horses, which are famous for speed and endurance on long marches.
In 1935, a group of Turkmen riders rode the distance of 4300 km (2700 miles) from Ashgabat to Moscow in 84 days.
Ahal-Teke horses are not only famous for speed and endurance, but for beauty and comfortable ride as well.
The difference in ratio of body length and height of these horses gives a soft riding.
The Ahal-Teke horses used to be called “Scythian horses” in Bronze Age and “Parthian horses” 2000 years ago.
The most notable and defining characteristic is the natural metallic sheen of its coat.  Different colors of their coat make it possible to camouflage easily in the desert.
